Most Muscovy drakes have a crest like this.

That is a Pied Muscovy drake, it is technically considered a duck and is domesticated from a wild duck, also called a Muscovy duck, this is the only duck that was not domesticated from the mallard. During the Muscovies rapid domestication it may have been crossbred with geese, this is not confirmed but it is what many people argue due the the muscovies many differences from other domestic ducks. The wild muscovy is endangered and lives in Mexico and some parts of South America. Domestic muscovies have established feral breeding populations in many southern states of the US. Domestic Muscovies are the largest breed of duck and they can surprisingly fly, they are also one of only two perching ducks.
*EDIT: this drake Muscovy is also a yearling, its caruncle is not fully formed yet.
