Dorking!!! Ancient breed favored by Caesars for their taste. Very gentle bird, prolific layer of white eggs and a good broody bird that makes a great mother. What is not to love!

I don't have much experience but our bantam cochin is the sweetest thing. We named her Coccolina meaning "tiny cuddles" in Italian. She just sits on your lap and sings so sweetly

Everyones going to shun me for recomending these birds but... turkens. They have such a personality and withstand heat and cold very well.

Silkies and Polish and phoenix and bantam cochin! Maybe something frizzled and I agree a turken. I will hopefully be getting a half turken in some eggs I've got coming.
