Help Me pick Breeds!

Most of the heavey breeds are fine, i would personally discourage owning any bantams, these birds really do not serve much purpose except for people who want cute pets to name, they tend to be on the mean side, lay really small eggs, and you can't see them in the stew pot, I guess with all those good traits that is why they bring higher prices,
My personal choice is Buff orpingtons, any Wyandottes, and light Brahmas can't be beat, they carry the whole package, good layers, good size for the freezer, good brooders and mothers.
Sorry about the bantams comment but true.

if i was aloud i would get every kind in the world muuhahahaha i know im a little over obsesed but my favorite is the light brahma

faverolles are the best !!! they are sweet and kind if a bit stupid

I have the silver laced wyandottes and the barred rocks. The wyandottes are so gentle are good layers and will let you collect eggsfrom under them! The BR are not as friendly and will try to get some skin when trying to remove their eggs!

I dont know how much room you have, so I am reluctant to act as an enabler at this stage. You already have a large menagerie of chickens, a regular carpet of living confetti. What space will any newcomers be given?

Most know I don't advocate the 'helter-skeleter, mixed and random' chicken flock, crammed in to whatever nook and cranny is available. I'd rather see you have have ten single breed or breed crosses in your yard than that same yard packed full of a multitude of one-off types. Call me a spoil sport if you want.

Youve got enough breed recommendations now to fill a hat, from what I could see, all good (except for the NN's - eeeesh!).
So my question now is geared more towards this:

To what end to you wish to add more?
