Your Grandmother's old fashioned coleus and hydrangeas cuttings sound interesting to me also. So I will be looking to pick some up, count on it...

I will be offering copies of our Family Cookbook, misc cookbooks, cowboy hats, Hollyhock seeds, a couple of gourds painted to look like storks, well that's just a start on my list I am still digging....And taking photos....
Just sounds like a good time to me...

I dont know how this super swap works but I,m looking for a blueberry rake scoop thing that is used to pick low bush blueberrys. I have strawberry plants that transplant nicely and grow in almost any dirt (I have some growing in gravel), I have orange day lillies or just plain cash that I will trade for one of these. The blueberries are ready now. Oh yeah if your local I guess I would have blueberries too

Oops..I lied about the hydrangea...it is not Annabelle...I am pretty sure it's Nikko Blue...whatever it is, it's a really, really old variety that I have just taken cuttings from. The first plants were here before I was born, nearly forty years ago. They are mophead, blue in my acidic soil, but pink in potting soil when I have them in pots. Your soil would determine the color, blue or pink.
I tried to take pics today, but things were just too dry and droopy. We desperately need rain. I watered though, so I'll try again tomorrow if I get a chance.

They are really easy to root. I don't think I have ever set one out that didn't. You can also bend a branch over, cover a section with soil, and put a brick on it to hold it down. In a few weeks, it will have roots, and you can cut it off from the parent plant. I just cut tips off my branches about 4-6" long, usually dip them in Rootone, and stick them in dirt. Keep them from drying out too badly, and they will root easily.

I potted a couple of sprigs of apple mint today in water bottle bottoms so I can use them for the swap. Will take pics sometime before Tuesday so everyone can see what I have to offer. I'm kinda excited!
