Well......I'm not........ :|

Hydrangeas can take just about anything. If you have an older blue, they will be blue in acidic soil or pink in alkaline soil. White does not change color. They CAN take full sun, but they much prefer a bit of shade during the hottest part of the day. They are really easy and forgiving plants.

Glad to see there is so much interest in this Super Swap

To those who can not make it, I really wish we could have a 'perfect' time for a swap, but until someone finds what that is (

), please keep watching for new Super Swap threads

OK, I plan to be here for the swap unless something comes up. Dad is in the hospital, so you never know, but I hope to be here. That being the plan, here are the items I plan to list if I get in on any of the trades:
Lot of Christmas items-teddy bear stocking, Michael McDonald Christmas CD, and 5 Hallmark Disney and Looney Toones ornaments.

Disney lithograths-there were given away with Disney videos throughout the 90's. Some have only 1 lithograth, some have sets of 4. I have Cinderella, Lion King, Pocahontas (2 of that one), Snow White, Aristocats, Oliver and Company, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Bambi, The Little Mermaid, Hercules, and Sleeping Beauty. I'll probably bundle them in groups of 4 or 6. Here is a pic of a couple of them:

Cuttings of plants. If I had known about this earlier, I could have gotten some rooted. These will be unrooted. I'll do 6 old fashioned coleus (3-5 inch pieces), 6 hydrangea (about 4-6 inch pieces), and 3 starts of apple mint (REALLY good when made with sweet tea). The mint has roots and is in the cut off bottoms of water bottles. They will look rough at first, but will shape up and be really pretty when set out. The cuttings will be wrapped in wet paper towels, then wet newspaper, then put in plastic bags and sent priority mail. I'll also add 2 dozen four o clock seeds. My four o clocks are from 3 sources-a solid fuschia that I got seeds off a plant in New Orleans when I lived there, solid white that I got seeds off a plant in Savannah while on vacation (my Grandmother always said flowers do better if you steal them lol), and a yellow variety with pink and white stripes and specks on them. The striped variety is not as hardy as the others, but it is beautiful! The seeds are mixed, so I can't tell you which is which.

Finally, if I need another thing to list, I have some heirloom crinum lily bulbs. I have read that these were the first lily to be hybridized. They are kinda hard to find now. You have to find someone who has them in an older garden, usually. They are very, very slow to multiply, but the bulbs will eventually get enormous. They can take full sun but will appreciate a bit of shade. They survive drought very well. They come in wine, white (my Grandmother called them milk white lillies), pink, or white/wine striped. I have all varieties, but I think the ones I am digging are all white. Here is an example, but the bloom was on its way out..they open bigger and bolder than this at first. You can probably find better pics by doing a net search for crinum lily. These are the regular flowering kind, not the spider variety.

Hope someone will like the stuff if I get to list it! Hopefully, I will read about the next one earlier so I can root stuff for it and send already rooted pieces!
See you all in the swap Tuesday night!

I might have to start going to these super swaps. I've never been in one, and this could be fun! I'm interested in the litographs.

But, I probably won't swap anything this time. This time anyway.
