Help me prepare for new arriving chicks

They'll call. You can always call the post office if you're worried.. I was going to do that, but the post office called me while I was looking up their phone number..

okay thanks! but i have a lot of post offices near me, how can i be sure which one is being the one to receive it?

Congratulations on your new babies...even if they haven't arrived yet. I am a brand new chickie mom too and it has been a rewarding 2 weeks so far. I currently have 3 and am desperately searching for some silkies at the moment. To answer your question about bedding, paper towels seem to be what people use, but I used the disposable under pads that they use in the hospital and they worked really well.

Yes the PO will call you and what I usually do is warn them that they will be coming in. If your not sure which one they will be arriving to just call one of them near you and ask them (give them your zip code and addy) they will be able to tell you. They usually call bright and early in the am

Mine calls me around 6am always.
