Help me recycle this old cabinet and use it in my coop or chicken area

Quote:
It's pretty big - about 5' tall x 2' deep x 3.5' wide - big enough for a 32" tv to fit in the upper opening. It has wheels on the bottom for moving around inside our house.

We dismantled a cabinet in the production of our coop...

The door provided shutters for the window in the door, the shelves and sides were used to make nest boxes.

Use the bottom drawers for storage and divide the top part into 2-3 horizontal areas and convert those into grow out coop for moving the little ones to the outdoors. Or, the same 2-3 areas can be used to house button quail pairs. Or use those same divided areas for broody pens or hospital units for sick or recovering chickens, or for the quarantine period for new additions.

I'm kind of liking this suggestion...I'll just have to keep thinking about it. My rubber tub brooder is great, but it takes up alot of real estate inside our living room. A quarantine pen outside would be great too b/c right now I don't have one. Good ideas!
