I have a 2 year old Muscovy female that has an unusual eye issue. It started out as the foamy eye which I was treating and it cleared up but now it looks like this and she has a loss of vision. She's the only one with this issue. I'm at a cross roads and need assistance to help her.

Do you have males in the pen with her?

If so, it's quite possible one or multiple drakes have been mating with her, and at the same time inadvertently are grabbing onto her eye to stay steady, and have now caused an infection.

Sometimes these eye problems are inevitable, but what I would really suggest doing is taking some time today to really think about what might be the cause, because it's just going to repeat itself without correcting the underlying cause of the problem.

As for her current state of health, I'd first start off by performing a menace reaction which simply consists of moving your hand slowly towards the bad eye, she should have a reaction, if she doesn't she needs to be taken to a vet to be evaluated. If she does react, start by flushing her eye with some saline (homemade will work) after the eye has been flushed wipe off any gunk present with a damp towel, and the last step will be applying either an ophthalmic gel or an antibacterial ointment like Neosporin.

For her, I'd really suggest on getting Terramycin eye ointment, this can readily be found at any feed store, simply dap a bit onto a cotton swab and apply to her eye. Repeat as needed.

Water should be kept clean as well.
