Help my Ayam Cemani chick! It’s a major emergency

Do y’all think she’ll always be disoriented or do y’all think it will get better if she heals?
I think I would be a bit out of it if I had a wound like that. You are doing a great job. If you can, I'd keep her where she can see you or other chickens most of the time. Chickens are soooo social. But she'll need to have her own crate or run until her wound is more healed.

When you go to reintroduce her, maybe make a post about the best way to do it? She'll be new to her baby flock members too at that point.

Ok, thanks, I’m gonna keep the babies separate from big ones then when she heals I’ll put her back with the babies slowly then I’ll eventually introduce all of them to the big chickens. How long do y’all think it will take her to recover? I just put more ointment that doesn’t have pain reliever on it.
