UPDATE!!!

She looks better! Shes more alert, walking around, eating. I haven't seen her drink yet.

I went into the coop this morning, and saw the black bantam was sick. She got to cold. Her wings are dropy and she is very tired. I think shes going to die.

What can I do???

I am not sure that was caused by being to cold??

We need more clues....
How old is she? If a layer has she been laying? Breathing assessment? Eating and Drinking? Stool color? Go to the index and under emergency and illness, there is a sticky to help you know what data is needed so others can help you.

Sorry she is ill.

Also go to the search up above. And type in chickens with colds. There is a bunch of info that could help you there. I hope it gets better fast. Please keep us informed. Good luck.

Unless she was under feathered and and less than 5 weeks old your South Dakota weather wont effect her. Low's of 40 F is nothing for a feathered chicken. It must have been something else going on.
