Help! My chicken has a lump under her beak!!!

Hey everyone!
So, one of my BRs has developed a small lump under her beak. It's flesh colored and seems to be in an oval shape. I noticed it yesterday and it was about a 1/4 inch long, and has not seemed to have grown since then. It starts about where her mouth starts, and then continues towards the tip of her beak.

She is still eating and drinking normally.

I will try to get a photo but she is very skittish and it is hard to get close to her.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just found about the same thing on my hen. It's small, round, hard and dark colored. She's not eating but did drink some when I offered it to her. She's pretty much on the way out.

Could you post a new thread here on the emergency forum about your hen? Can you look inside her beak for any yellow material, and smell her beak? Post more pictures of the beak if something is in there. I would worry that this could be a tumor, or possibly canker. Fill in the blanks here to start a new thread:

Too difficult to get an inside picture but doesn'tlook like anything is there although it might be because it's affecting her eating. She's not going to live long.
