HELP MY FLOCK IS GONE!

Pics
Do you have a light bulb you could put out at night near where they might be? where they disappeared ?chickens will come to the light at night. they'll do it .that's how I teach mine to come in the coop. I turn the light on in the coop at night they all go to the light .you'd have to watch out for them to see if they appeared. but it's a thought .

I don't know if it will help, but I have always clapped my hands together loudly and yell "babies!" when it was time for them to come in. I still do it now that they are 6 months old.

I "lost" my whole flock several months ago, shortly after moving them into their coop. I was in a panic and running all over the property calling them. I finally found them when they leisurely began to come out from under the flattened coop I was tearing down. Evidently they'd gone in their for a nap. I was surprised there was even room for them AND the 2 ducks under there.

I also say "babies!" in a high pitched voice, or "ladies!!" and they always get all stirred up for me. My chicken Fajita definitely knows her name because any time she starts to wander too far I can call her back. I can also shake a bag of treats and they all come running towards me at full speed. They've been treat trained since they were very young. Little moochers, lol.

I'd be so distraught I'd probably be sleeping in the yard and not going to work until I had some closure. :(
