Help! My last barred rock is on one leg! Literally!!!!!

I mean yeah hot dogs are gross. Processed and what not. But she was quite happy about it and I am just trying to spoil her a little.

I fed her a hot dog. My toddler wastes lots of food.
Is it bad?

I'm going to have to say..yes, but probably not that bad.
I'm a bit of a health nut so ...you might be asking the wrong person.

I would stick to a complete chick feed...
It has everything in it that her body needs.
If you want to mix a little hot dog into the feed then ok..i guess. But don't feed her any more please.
I might die if you do.

I think it's probably ok to tempt her appetite since you're trying to get her eating again. Now like Kiki said chop tiny pieces and mix with good chick feed.

On the subject of bad things to eat - once my neighbor gave my chickens a carrot cake!
When I went to feed them in the afternoon they had eaten nearly all of the frosting off the cake! [They survived, none the worse for it.]

Yes one hot dog it fine.
Don't sweat it.
But the more complete feed you can get her to eat the better.

Mixing a little tuna or sardines in with the feed may help too.
