Help, My Rooster is Isolating Himself From Coop and Buddies at Night!!

Added some tree branches to the run for the chickens to either hide play on etc. and the usual bedding to the coop was changed out to a different kind. Usually is one of the first couple in, chickens put themselves to bed just around before it gets dark. Other rooster is fine. We just got some younger hens acclimated into the group but are currently the lowest in the pecking order.

I am out of ideas of what could be the reason for his change in behavior. Hopefully someone else has an idea.
I would keep putting him in.
If you have a trail camera, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have it near the coop.
