HELP - MY ROOSTER IS SICK - Thank You!

I have read through several of your posts but, cannot find where you posted just exactly what his/their symptoms are,i did see your video.
Pip's symptoms: Gurgling mucus, sneezing, isn't crowing and he was struggling to breathe, but today he is breathing alright and seems a little better. Bumblebee's symptoms: Gasping for air, sneezing, stopped crowing, physically can't make any noises (lost his voice), Isn't sleeping at night because he is focusing on his breathing, and his comb and waddles are a blue/purple/red color. Pip did have other symptoms but today he is a lot better. I have been giving them medication.

I wormed Pip, but Bumblebee is at the vet under oxygen. The poor guy was blue, I am picking him up later. Anyway, if Pip has Gape worm, he has been treated. I will treat Bumblebee later. And if they have IB I will hope they survive.

Bumblebee is doing a lot better today. His comb and waddles are finally back to their red color again after being purple/blue for 2 days. He is trying to crow, but can't since he lost his voice. The past couple days he hasn't even tried to crow. So he is doing much better. My hopes are much higher now.

Quote: I had one that I suspected had gapes, but can't be sure. I gave her 50mg/kg three days in a row and she recovered. None of the literature I have seen says that ivermectin is effective against gapes, but I haven't seen it all, lol.

Bumblebee is doing so much better!! I really think that both the roosters are going to make it. Bumblebee has been trying to crow, after 2 days of no crowing. Unfortunately he can't crow because his he still lost his voice. After a few days of being blue, Bumblebee's comb and waddles are red again. He is still gasping for air but is doing to much better. Pip is doing a lot better too. I think Pip will be mostly recovered in a few days. Pip never was in as bad of condition as Bumblebee was (luckily). Well, hopefully both of them will continue to head in the right direction!
