My golden laced sebright, Lucky, has one of her scals on her foot is swelling up! What should I do! She got ivermectin on her neck a few weeks ago but she is off drawback time. She is actually not mine bout my girl she was a coop with her so yeh... what can I do!!! She has just turned a year old. She had a struggle to get out of her egg and we had to get her out. She got her food stepped on by some person who wasn’t following the rules. But she healed fine. I don’t remember if it is on the same foot eather. I hope this isn’t something I have to take her to the vet for. She isn’t limping. Ask me for anything I am missing please. Thank you so much!

When you soak her foot try to gently get that debris cleaned off.
Ok so before school i soaked her foot. I was trying to lightly rub off the junk but it was hard as a rock. She was soaking her foot for about 8 minutes. The part the is bulging of the side of her toe is very very hard. She can't tell when i squeeze on it. I am going to spray it with vetryosin (sorry i can't spell, that wound spray). Should I continue spraying is 3 times a day?

It looks like a crud ball on her toe along with the raised scale. I would keep working at getting that off. A crud ball will contain poop as well as dirt so is a bacteria dream land.
I would soak her foot when you get home and try again to remove the crud. The spray can be used after you soak and then dry the foot.

Soak repeatedly until that toe is cleaned up. A little dawn in the water may help loosen it.

When you soak her.....try for at least 15 minutes in the warm water.

Ok, i will do, she lives at my school so i will soak her after school. Do i have to keep her inside or do anything special? Do i need to add vitamins to her water? I am able to go out during lunch and spray her foot. Thank you so much!
