Our broody.hen had been sitting on two eggs and because we lost 1 chick and another was badly injured last time we seperated the hen and eggs. While checking on her this evening we found 1 egg hatched shells all around but no chick anywhere. So we brought the other egg in under lamp till morning to figure out what we needed to do. Well its hatched! I have read its best to let them dry naturally under lamp for.24 hours, but.do i need to try.to get her back under broody hen and just keep an eye on her? Not sure since the last time and missing chick this time. Posting pic of new Chick next.
