It should be. Its not ready to come out yet, so there sould be no reason for it to come out. If you help now it might not have its yolk absorbed, you'll probably hit a vein and have to deal with that.

I would just leave it alone. If it hasn’t internally pipped that means it’s trying. You should have some new duckies soon!

I think the term for what’s happening is shadowing. It means that the duckling is getting ready to pip, but not quite there yet. After I notice shadowing, I usually get internal pips around a day after. So I’m sure your duckie is fine!

You can see the beak in the air cell. But I would really just leave it alone and not touch it because you can accidentally hurt the duckling.

Yeh I’m not going to touch it, can see it pushing up against the membrane tho.
