HELP one of my silkies isn't right..

I think it's both, his one foot looks normal and he uses it a lot except it looks like it maybe going spraddle, the other foot, his longest toe is curling. He will stand in one spot hold his head up really high, end up on the back of his legs (where they bend) and boom falls over, then he tries to get back over his legs start to shake like crazy and then he gives up and just lays there. then he'll try again and again, if I put him back into position he will stand on his toes then fall forward face hits the ground. he gets his balance again and boom head goes back up and then we fall backwards and we start the process all over again.. He chirps more then the other 3..

How old (in hours) is this chick? You said he hatched last night.....it is morning now so I'm wondering if you mean he hatched night before last or just a couple of hours ago. Please clarify.

Is his neck going backwards causing him to flip or does it look like a leg issue?

His neck goes back causing him to flip but he also has one toe that is curling..making him not be able to walk right..

He hatched out last night about 6 or 7 in the evening..

He's over 24 hours if that helps.. to be exact his is about 33 hours old. maybe 34 hours.

I would keep him on the polyvisol for a couple of days. The link in my signature has a ton of info on leg issues. Hopefully he does not have any serious internal issues.

Ok here's what I did, I crushed up a B-2 vitamin and mixed it with water and gave him about 2 to 3 drops. HE LOVED IT. Gave him another drop of Polyvisol, HE HATED IT. Then I got some tape, I tried a bandaid but it wouldn't stick very good, so I got first aid tape. I made him a boot, believe it or not he actually stood on both toes (left and right) and kept his balance, he walked over to the other chicks(no more like wobbled)and boom laid down on his belly and fell asleep. Yes, you heard me correctly he didn't put his head up and fall backwards, he just wobbled over to the others and crashed. I have to work at 8:00 that gives me 4 hours of sleep, so I think I will crash with him. ha ha ha... YEH RIGHT.. Im to worried about him.. He did chirp the entire way to his brother/sisters.

Now the question is How long should I keep his boot on?
