Help! Pigeon losing feathers on back of neck

Well the one with the bald spot (female) sits on it during the day but the male will sit on it if she goes down to get food or water and take a break.

That is WEIRD! Mine always do the normal shifts.

the hen takes the shift from about 5 pm to 9 am, and the make from 9am to 5 pm.
Lol I thought everyone’s pigeons did that. It really just depends on who’s hungry for them lol. I’ve seen them switch up to four or five times a day. And I thought it was funny that it wasn’t only Peach taking care of Nugget, because Kowi does too

At first I was super worried but I guess it is probably fine because she is the female and all pigeons have different sitting shifts. Thank you guys for all the help! :thumbsup

Yep! sounds good!

As to why the pigeons losing feathers, I just thought of this. They are with chickens. Chickens are aggressive. I think the chickens are picking on the pigeons. Have you seen any aggressive behavior towards the pigeons from the chickens?

I haven't seen the chickens picking on the pigeons, but the pigeon dad shoved the chickens down the ladder last night, I guess he thought they were trying to attack the babies but I think they just wanted to roost up there for the night. Eventually they all worked it out and were roosting on different sticks.
