check and see. depending on how old your eggs are, see what you can see with it. if you cant see much and you should be, you might need a stronger light or there might just not be anything in your egg. trial and error is how i found my candling light but im not quite sure what it is.
It works really good for the white eggs that i have in there. As for the austalorp eggs that i have in there, ha cant hardly see through the shell. Should i not be feeding my hens a layer feed?, it is supposed to make the shell stronger, should i start them on a broiler mix?
thats how my light is too. i can see perfect in the white eggs and not very well with the dark eggs. i waited until they smelled or until they were day 14 ish because then you can see the air sack and you can see movement.
