Help Please. I think this is a cockrel.

OK 4 of my newer chickens were supposed to be black stars. I got them from a guy who incubated eggs, but 2 of them don't look like hens, and I know that black star males are different color all together. Any ideas? The first picture is a different bird from all the other pictures.

Yes they are all cockerels including the barred one behind the black one in the last photo. If you just got them you should take them back for a refund.

They are about 4 months old. I knew the rock was a cockrel, and I want to keep too roosters, I didn't pay for them, I'm really just curious as to what breed they are.

Looks like he mated black star (sex link) to black star thinking that meant the chicks were black stars, but just makes mixed breed birds . the rocks barring is not that of a pure bred bird either

OK thank you to everyone for your input! Now I have to decide which ones I want to keep. That leaves me with 19 hens. I think I can safely keep 2 roosters?
