So sorry you lost Goliath to those bloodsuckers. When a chicken is infested with them, they become anemic, then die. Personally, I dont mess around with external parasites and I use the big guns and hit them hard with sevin dust. It's a matter of dusting them all at one time as well as their house,roosts and nests so they dont get the chance to spread/reproduce....then repeating everything again in 10-14 days to kill any eggs that have hatched. I do the same thing when worming, with products I know for sure that work, no guesswork.
