It's not contagious. It's an abscess, like a big zit.

Clean her foot and look at the bottom, you could see a dark spot or scab, that's the infection plug, you'll have to remove it (if it will move) and drain the infection. Let me get you an article for help.

No real reason to. She shouldn't be jumping on that foot though.
