How do you find homes for your roosters you can't keep? I have close neighbors and as a first-time chicken owner, thought I was doing well to buy pre-sexed pullet's....... whelp, I have about 5 roo's and I have to find them homes ASAP. They are 14-16 weeks now and boy are they finding their voices. Any advice other than asking around and posting on facebook groups? No success so far.

Find your state or country thread in the "Where am I? Where are you!" section of this forum and chat with your neighbors.

If you are in the USA, call your county extension office and chat with them.

If you are in the USA try posting on Craigslist.

Contact a zoo or a wildlife rehab facility and see if they need food for their critters.

Chat with the people at your feed store. They may know someone that would take them but they may also have a bulletin board you can post a notice on.

Are there any livestock auctions near you that will sell them for you? Some don't do chickens but some do.

Go to the "But-Sell-Trade" section of this forum and start a thread. Put your location in the title to try to attract the attention of people near you.

How many roosters do you have, and how many hens?
