These two cuties came with our ornamental layer collection from McMurray. So they should both be girls. However I am starting to think I ended up with a pair of Crevecoeurs. What a cool mistake that would be!

I think the one on the left is a boy and the other is a pullet

Here the ?pullet is on the top and the roo? is on the bottom.

Thanks in advance!

They both look like pullets. How old are they?

Mcmurray does not carry black polish, so they are crevecoeurs.

They are about 3 months old The one has a darker colored face and its creast seems to go st8 up and the other ones is alot longer and more rounded. They look totally diff on creasts.

They are Crevecoeurs But no one seemed to know about crevecoeurs so i thought I would ask the people with polish. Sexing would be the same wouldn't it?

Yes, it would be basically the same. I can't tell too well from the pics, but generally the first sign of a cockerel will be the wattles (or so I've found), and I'm not really seeing any wattle development on either. Usually on bearded breeds, wattles would be smaller, but they should still stand out more on a cockerel.

Polish ladies have more of a fro with rounded tips on the feathers. Polish males have a more "dreadlocks" look similar to very thin saddle feathers with pointed tips on the feathers.

A Polish hen's wattles are small and rounded; a rooster's a re larger and longer.

I would say you have two gorgeous pullets.
