I just found my pullet Amber hiding all bloody. She has no skin or feathers on the back of her neck. I’ve never treated wounds before my dad’s telling me to wash it but that sounds painful and soap on such a big fresh wound???
I need more opinions. I don’t have a car so I can’t drive anywhere or get supplies. I do have vetericyn plus antimicrobial and I also have silver shield gel.

You can use warm soapy water on a wound like that if that's all you have, just rinse well.
Trim some of the feathers away from the wound so the feathers don't stick in the wound so much.
After you clean the wound, use the Vetericyn.

Keep her where flies don't get on the wound, this can cause problems.

Is she drinking and eating o.k.?

I cleaned it with some makeshift saline solution like someone suggested above. I have her in my room in a bin and she’s eating and drinking well luckily
