I have a bunch of hens, unfortunately no bantams that are as tiny as he is. He is about the size of a cockatiel. Could that be something?
Super cute! He’s got such got a goofy call hahah. Does yours?I have the same breed of rooster (cute, eh?) and I keep him in a chicken tractor with a few bantam hens.
Haha, that's what I'm saying. I have three bantam roos (they are with their own kind, not with my full size chickens) and they think they are big n tuff Lil things. They don't know they are tiny. They are fiesty. little dog big bark lol.Put him in there! All those giant women he'll be in heaven. He dosen't know he's tiny lol!![]()
I would give him a hen so he will calm down a bit........ he was probably going to the neighbor's side to get it on with their hens.![]()
... When getting new [roosters]... the best thing to get them to know is where home is
This little guy is only about 2 weeks older but I can see how that could end up not good for her lolThe best way is a little lower then his stomach and that's true with roosters too.
Put him with your big hens. He isn't too small to be with standard size hens.
I would not put him with a 7 week old pullet. She isn't as mature as him and it won't be pretty for her.
I would get at least one bantam hen for him.
