Help!! Should I catch this abandoned duck or leave her alone?

A large towel or net might help. Or bring someone along with you 2 trying might be better than just 1.

bad news : she doesn’t seem to trust me, I jumped into the water n chased her up the ramp but she out smarted me. The ground hurt too much to run

Ik that was a bad idea but I ran out of food and been here for 3-4 hours so I got impatient n thought maybe I could grab her

The mom to or just the babies? She could of been bred with a mallard to get the babies but I’m not touching them if they’re part wild mallard bc the laws

I don’t think the domestic duck is the mom, the other ones look like young pure mallards

I was thinking the same. I think she might of stolen them or something or they just hang out in the same spot

Update: wish me luck. This is the last day before i go on a 3 day vacation :’)
I’ll go out at 4-5pm and bring whatever I can to use on her.
Thank you all for your kind words and help! It helped me a lot even if I couldn’t catch her yesterday.

If I can catch her, my plan is to tame and either rehome or keep her. Her name is whiskey :]
