Help sick 3 week old barred rock chick

Well cocci is very common in the ground and it could have been carried in by you etc. Or if they have been around any of the other chicks that have been outside. We have had it in chicks that weren't outside too. I can see why you would discount it but I probably wouldn't. I hope you get some other opinions soon.

Should she be having diarrhea and how long before the others r sick it's been 6 days since I noticed she was sick?

Well I'm more familiar with the forms that come on fast and hard so I'm not completely sure. It could be that the others do have it and just aren't showing symptoms yet. Chickens are generally very good at hiding illness. We have had chicks that had it and did not have diarrhea. I forget where I saw it but if you search I found a page searching for "coccidiosis incubation period" try searching for that maybe

Could it be anything thing else? I've been giving them all duramycin 10 for 6 days should I stop.giving them this?? She seems like today like she's trying to drink more on her own she still eating like I said I feel.she maybe isn't eatting as much as the others.

Ok I just read the back I'm going to stopping giving that maybe just some smart water? Or just regular water??? Do chickens try to fight diseases off it seems like sometimes she gets spurts of energy she flew up to the little.perch in their cAge and tired to come out when I opened the cage like the others but then kinda just goes back to.sleeping

Some chicken illnesses mimic each other and symptoms can often be similar.

I'm not really sure what else it could be. Heavy breathing or fast shallow breathing could be a sign of pain or discomfort.

Does she have any other symptoms? I'll see if we can get some other ideas going here.
