Help sick 3 week old barred rock chick

Thanks Kathy.
I'm glad you took a look and agreed with my diagnosis, it's always nice to have a second or third opinion.

Please let us know how she does.

Quote: Sadly, most feed store employees aren't very helpful, and some give out really bad advice. Absolutely no harm in treating for coccidiosis with something like Corid, so that is your best bet.

Did you get your Corid yet? Is it powder or liquid?

Get whatever they have. If they have both, get the liquid. Please get it today, 'cause I don't think you have time to order it. :(

If they don't have Corid, see if they have AmproMed or Amprol. If they don't have those, see if they have any Sulmet or other sulfa drug.

Do you have a kitchen scale? If not, use 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) Corid per quart *and* give the barred chick one drop of *undiltued* Corid from a 1 or 3 ml syringe. If you do have a scale, weigh the chick and let us know how much it weighs.

Ok I got it I don't have a scale so exactly how do I give it to them how much they couldn't tell me measurement cuz it's for calves
400

I need to know exactly how much to use this is my first time with chickens and how long should I use it and how long til she starts feeling better? Thank u. Melissa
