Most chickens don't perch very early on, so that is probably not the cause. My chicks at 8 weeks old don't perch much yet. It's mu understanding that sometimes bent toes is nutritional or genetic. It could also be an injury like some of mine have from getting stuck in fencing. I am not sure how old is to late to try and straighten them.Hi again back yard chicken I don't know how to use your website very good I am new. What can u do for guine fowls with cricked toes? My two Guinea have cricked toes I read u can put tape on it. What cause the toes to do that?? They were fine when born there toes now there two months old. Is it cause they haven't perch on any thing for long time?
