Just noticed my Easter egger ( amercauna?) not feeling well - not interested in corn cobs. Picked her up, her crop feels fuller, almost gassy. She starts to burp and then fluid comes out her mouth. Then LOTS of fluid came out. Anything I can do? Her sister died of similar seeming symptoms at a very young age (6 weeks). Help!

Be careful handling a full crop of a chick--they can vomit and aspirate or choke with a full or bloated crop. At this age, coccidosis is common, and that and other conditions can cause a slow emptying crop. Lethargy, poor appetite, puffed up or hunching, diarrhea or blood in stools can be symptoms. Corid, a cattle medicine, is the treatment.

Acapella ( the chicken with what I feel like is sour crop) is a little over a year. She was fine yesterday. I did help her get some more fluid out and it's less impacted. I separated her from the others in a separate crate and just have fresh water with her. Will check her in the am.

Thank you!
