Help - Stopped getting email subscription notifications - unsubscribing???

I haven't received any Daily Digest emails since the software change.

I was getting the Immediate emails until the weekend of 2/3, then they stopped. Something changed at that point.

I I just now changed the "pause" setting and un- and re-subscribed to a couple threads, including this one, and I'm getting those emails but none from my earlier subscriptions.

I resubscribed to a thread in Daily mode, we'll see about that tomorrow.

Ok I stayed logged on all day and recieved notifications all day.... And I just got notification from a thread I participated on within the last half hour..... Woo Hoo.

I also have whittled down my subscriptions to a little over 200. My goal is to whittle them down more as I can open them and make a yay or nay decision on them.

I tried the log out/log in yesterday and have been flooded with notifications ever since. I woke up this morning to 44 in my inbox and nearly all were from the Washingtonian thread ( usually very busy) and one or two for my other favorite (Icelandics).

This is good news! You are getting notices! YAY ! !

I haven't been getting emails for the threads I am subscribed to either. In fact when I select "subscribe" it doesn't seem to take? I could select subscribe over and over again but it never changes. Hmmmmmmm

After you click "subscribe" you should get a popup that makes you select whether or how often to get email updates. Or, you can select "site only," so the thread goes in your list of subscriptions but you have to check for new posts.

i am wondering whether you are having a problem related to popups if you don't get this field with these choices when you click "subscribe." I use a popup blocker, but have it set so it allows popups for BYC.

Removed orginal post to reflect that I should have started at the end of the thread and worked back. I logged out and logged back in. WOW....instant success.....that was THE EASIEST FIX I have ever seen in my entire 25+ years of online use.

YAY!!!!!

well i stayed logged in from yesterday and tonight when i opened my email had114 notifications received a few more while reading the threads. still have set to immediate and the no pause selected. I do prefer the way it use to noitify with the 1 email that activity on a thread happened but at least i seem to be getting email as of right now

We may have two issue:

1) Subscriptions not going out
2) Subscriptions going out, but some members not getting them (like mentioned about AOL, etc.)

We're digging into this, so keep the feedback coming!

I'm still not getting any now I use Yahoo not in my spam folder either I didn't worry but it's been a few days now...I miss knowing the posting as I just don't browse around checking all the threads

i shifted over to yahoo mail, and have gotten quite a few today, seems to go in spurts
