Help - Stopped getting email subscription notifications - unsubscribing???

The main problem shouldn't have anything to do with who your email provider is. There seems to be a bug that is causing the emails to not be sent out for some users. The engineers are looking into it!

I have switched back and forth..... gmail to AOL to gmail to AOL. I get notices with gmail, but never with AOL.

I don't know if this is important or not, but...
I just now changed my email address on my profile to AOL (again). I did not get that little pop up or notification thingy that said they would send me an email. Soooo, I did it again. Again it did not do that.

Oh, and no email either....

My last subscription email was two days ago (Feb. 8th).

Maybe we should do a poll. Who is your email server and are you getting BYC notices.

I switched back to gmail and am getting notices. Nothing from BYC will come through my AOL mail, even with my spam filters set to zero, and "allow all mail."

A few quick updates: It seems there are at least a couple problems: Emails not being sent & emails not being received by some email providers

1. Not Received: We use an email service that is tasked with using clean IP addresses, mail servers, etc. to increase the probability that your email service will accept and not reject our emails. Some providers are more "strict" than others (AOL is an example). We're constantly monitoring and doing all we can to try to make sure our emails get through.
2. Not Sent: This seems to be the main issue discussed in this thread. I've been diligently keeping records of each thread I'm subscribed to and detailing when I receive them and when new posts are made. I've isolated a handful of threads and cases where I'm definitely not getting the subscriptions when I should be.

Some very good news: Our engineers have been looking into these issues and have duplicated the problem in # 2 (the main issue in this thread). Now the challenge is to find the cause and fix it. oddly enough I received 4 e-mails from this thread since my post.............

but none from the others I subscribe too.

My work around is going to my profile page to see what if anything has been

posted.

i have hotmail. After several days I finally got a couple of notices yesterday but not all that I should have gotten.
