Help..terrible leg

I need help ..hatched 5 Brahmas 5 months ago one developed a limp and died amonth ago, no sores not swollen no outward signs at all. One developed a leg
problem a month ago little black and scaly and has just been getting worse and I don'tknow what to do.
She walks no limp and eats well but it is swollen and looks horrible. Just took a photo think it smells a well. Please somebody help.

Could she possible have had something get wrapped around her foot? (See where I have circled your photos) Looks like something is in the "wound".
What does the bottom of the foot look like?
I would soak the foot in warm epsom salt bath to soften the scales and then gently scrub with a soft toothebrush. Look closely to see if there is a piece of string in there?
Apply some plain neosporin or vetericyn ointment.
You will have to do this several days.
Then see how it does. You may need to give antibiotics if the swelling and infection persists.
