Nah. The tomato juice doesn't help. The vinegar in the tomato juice helps, but the tomato juice is supposed to be really bad for their skin/fur. The hydrgen peroxide/baking soda/Dawn soap mix worked great on the dogs. I just couldn't use it on their faces. All in all though, they smell okay. Not substantially worse than how they normally smell anyway.
The house wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It smells like burnt coffee grounds sort of. I turned the heat on for the first time so now it smells like burnt coffee and burnt dust. Good times. Good times.
The boiling vinegar/cinnamon/clove/apple mix is helping. Even if it dosn't make the house better it seems to do a great job at clearing out ones sinuses. The back porch/laundry area is still pretty ripe. It caught the brunt of it. I have a pan of baking soda, a bowl of straight vinegar and a pot of the vinegar mixture sitting out there. I also have all the windows wide open. Once the worst of the smell is gone I'll start rewashing all the laundry I had out there.

How is it that you have never smelled skunk. Do Imps not have skunks in Impland?
Skunks from Impland smell like roses. It's the Imps themselves that smell to high heaven.
Oh, I see you've smelled me, heavenly is right
Side note to Imp: I read your post to Keith. He wants to box up a skunk and send it to you, after he pounds on the box to get it nice and ticked off.
Good luck with that.
There were no skunks where I grew up. And have never came across one here. When I was in the 6th grade I brought home the class skunk for the Christmas break. Descented of course. That thing was mean. I was afraid of it. Dad had to hold it while I cleaned the cage as fast as I could. Mom said "Don't vounteer for the skunk again.
