This baby chick hatched 3 days ago and she having trouble when she was hatching I saw it have trouble getting out the egg but I couldn't get near it because the hen will peck me so I just left it there. So then the next day I found it laying near it mother I thought It was dead but it was still moving barely she was in bad condition so pick her up put her under a light and gave her water I left her under the light and check up on her every 10 min. She seems way better now but she still is not healed. She also has something on her belly??? Does it have anything to with her health? What should I do?

That's just a scab over her umbilicus. It's the equivalent of a human belly button. It should heal up.

It sounds like she got chilled outside. She might not have been able to keep up with the broody to stay warm or the broody may have rejected her.

If she's having trouble out with the broody but seems to be doing good indoors you might want to keep her in and brood her yourself so you don't lose her. You can take another chick from the broody to keep her company.

You get some electrolytes & vitamins to help it get through the first week, wet it's chick starter & keep it warm. As Pyxis recommends another chick from under the hen for company would help. I've raised single chicks with a feather duster & mirror when I don't have another chick.

Is it really weak? Lay on it's side?

If it's a day or two separation, try placing the chick under the hen when the rest are under her but keep a very close eye on her reaction. I've never done that but read it's been tried, not always a success

She really weak right now. She can't drink water without my help but when I do give her water it looks like she having trouble swallowing it.
