I have four hens. They are approximately 15 weeks old. Two of them have very pronounced combs, and two have small combs. One of the one's with large combs has been picked on by the other three. This has caused an injury on her comb and we have quarantined her at this point. What do I do???? I am in a panic and have no idea how to handle this!!!!

Thanks!
Rebecca

They may be too crowded or too bored. They can start picking on each other if they are in too small a spot, lack of protein in the diet or just nothing to do. Sometimes one is just a meany...... I hate to say this but the ones with big combs may be cockerels..........
