There are tiny red bugs on my baby silkies. Idk what they are, and if they are bad. I think I found a picture of what they look like online. I am very worried because I love my birds.

How old are your Silkies? Can you take some photos of the Silkies and the bugs?
Where are you keeping them - are they inside your house or outside?

Chickens can get bedbugs - that is the photo that you attached. They can also get red mites and poultry lice which are a tan looking bug.

If they have bugs on them - you need to treat them with a permethrin based poultry spray or dust - you can find this at most feed stores like Tractor Supply. Treat the chicks, clean out the bedding and housing they are in and treat that as well.

Here's a good article along with photos that may help you identify what you are seeing.

Hello Wolvesry, I don't know if your birds are feathered in, or just babies, but as soon as my birds all fully feathered, I drop on cattle Ivermectin. 1 drop on skin of shoulders. That works for 6 months. It's increased as birds get larger,( barred rocks here). My adult birds get 2 drops per hen, 3-4 per rooster. I have had chickens since 2009 and never had pest problems. I try to keep the coop clean (deep litter- cedar shavings)and use Daimateous earth under nesting material. Use wood ash in the Chicken run, in a spot they like to dust bathe. This makes it easy on me, as I only have to remember to treat birds 2 X a year!

Yes they did not look like what I saw. Granted, it was tiny and moving through my chicks thick fluff, but what I did see looked like the photo I posted. They are only 1 or 2 weeks old.
Get some permethrin today. Bugs will suck the life right out of them.
