HELP!!! TURKEY HEN PROLAPSED??

Pics
Lettuce definitely not fatty. Grapes not fatty. Like all fruit they have sugar, but I don’t think grapes are going to hurt Ebony as long as they’re a small part of her diet.
Okay sounds good.. thanks so much. Ebony looks so much like her. This is ebony

Thank so so much she’s so pretty. And sweet, the twin of my sweet Peep. I love ebony so much too I want to keep her around as long as I can..
Well, I think you've taken significant steps towards that. :hugs Getting a uniform, easy to digest feed will undoubtedly help keep her around as long as possible. It's nice something as simple as that can make such a difference.

I sure hope so.. I really want to keep this girl. She gets lots of oyster shell and is laying regularly nice thick strong shells most recent egg was last night and grapes and veggies as her only treats. She has the seed as of now just because we need to get to the feed store and figure it out but want to transfer this week.. what brands do you suggest and what percentage of protein would she need to stay healthy for a big girl like her..? And that would be her only true feed she would get right along with the oyster shell healthy treats and water

Well, if I'm interpreting TABLE 3-1 from this book https://www.nap.edu/read/2114/chapter/5 correctly, I believe a laying turkey needs 14% protein in her feed.

And I'm honestly not sure if brand matters so much anymore. It used to matter because some companies used animal based protein in their feeds, while others used plant based protein only. Animal based is better, but companies have been able to save so much money using plants that basically all the feeds are vegetarian now. So, as long as you get a nice layer crumble with 14% protein you should be good.

What kind of feed store have you got near you? Is it a Tractor Supply Co, or something else? If they have their products listed on their website I'd be willing to look at the choices of turkey feed and tell you what one I'd pick if it were me (that doesn't necessarily mean I'm right, but it's the best I can do, lol)
