HELP URGENT RIGHT NOW!!

Young birds can die. A bird can die of terror. A bird can flap so hard, and breathe so hard trying to escape that they die in a safe cage. I have had young parrots die this way. A dog chased and caught and held the young bird in it's mouth. No mark on the dead bird. Very sorry you lost a bird. You are a good owner, and other birds will benefit form your learning.
She wasnt in a cage :( she was in a coop she really enjoyed.

my chicken sees my dog everyday up close almost. And then she just ran around paniced then went limp
is it quite hot out where you live? Did she run into a fence? How has she reacted to your dog in the past? Not that any of this will bring your chicken back, but might help you manage your birds a little differently in the future. Maybe after you bury her, you can ask your mom if you can plant a bush or tree over her to remember her by.

Good idea! :goodpost:

For anyone who CAN'T tell, this is obviously a minor who us having a hard enough time with an illness, suddenly occurring at that.

Encouraging someone to be willfully disobedient and potentially put themselves in harm's way by "biking to the nearest Vet ofc" is absurd, doubly so because you know nothing of the geography involved nor did you think thru hiw a MINOR was going to pay for such a thing!! Unless you have PM'd the original poster and offered YOUR credit card for the Vet to use??

C'mon now, let's use a lot more of the common sense & a lot less of the uncommon kind, shall we?

nope, its not hot outside, its just fairly warm. In the past she wasnt afraid of the dog at all, she could just easily fly out of the way, and she always had a big rooster watching over her to keep her safe. Well, that big rooster was around when this happened.
