Try clicking on the paper clip in the reply window that says "attach files". That will open your computer files. Then select the file on your computer where your photos are. Then click on the photo you wish share. Click "open".

It will show up in the window. Next click on "Insert" at the top of the photo, then click on "full image". Then click "post reply". That will post a photo here that we can see and zoom in on to see details.

I damped the area and now it's leaking? But the chick is so active and now is running around....

If it also smells really bad, it is an abscess or infection. Flush the area with hydrogen peroxide or betadine and check several times a day. Isolate the chick and give it clean bedding.

Cover the vent with gauze or cloth to prevent any disinfectant from entering the vent area.

The photos are fine, but could you try to describe precisely where on the leg or butt this red protrusion is erupting from?

Is it hanging from the upper leg, or is it hanging from the vent, or is it attached to the chick's butt just below the vent?

It is attached to the upper leg not coming from the butt and the liquid has now hardened around the chick. The chick seems more relaxed but how do I get rid of whatever the hardene

Thanks but it doesn't really smell.
