Help, What is this?

Hello, I need some clarification if this is normal or if it is a parasite. And how to treat my chicken. (It is the yellow thing sticking out in the middle)

It's hard to tell where that is on your chicken. Is it right above the rear end? Could be the preening gland. If so, its supposed to be there.

It's located just anterior to the tail on her back, right ? It's her oil gland. They all have one.

I believe it is dirt. She took a dust bath this morning.
