Help with a chick or roo???

At 6 weeks old and having that much comb, I'm just about positive you have 6 cockerels!

so do you think i should hold off getting rid of them just incase they are girls???

Keep them until their feathers are like an adult chickens'. I hate seeing people dispose of their birds over a possibility!!!

Plus if you DO have cocks, you can grow them up and, well, eat them.

They start getting their feathers at 7 to 8 months old or earlier.

I Totally understand how you feel. People would probably be interested in adult cocks, however!

Most people do not want adult cocks. You should know what they are for positive by 20-26 weeks! That's when most hens lay. If their cockerels you should know within the next 6-12 weeks

well...i wouldn't just throw them away...i would try to find them a home.....i have such bad luck ending up with so many roos instead of chickens!
