Help with my broody hen

I have a pair of bronze turkeys and the hen has been laying for some weeks. Because we thought it was too cold out for hatching we have been collecting and eating her eggs. She has now gone broody, is no longer laying and is sitting on an empty nest. What should we do for the poor thing. Last year she sat for almost 40 days and no chicks hatched. Can we wake her out of her trance. Will she start laying again if we do? Also, is there a way to tell if the eggs are fertalized?
