Help with possible illness

Thank you for the help with male/female determination, Eggcessive and Stiggy. My hubby kept telling me it was a girl, but he was just guessing.

She almost looks like a cross between the Dutch and Japanese, since her gold feathers on her neck do not extend past her chest.

She is pretty skittish; she's afraid of shoes (walking by) and jumpy with quick movement. We think she may have been swatted at, or kicked in her previous "life". We also wonder if she wasn't used as "bait" for cock fighting, though, she does not appear to have any injuries that would support that.

We just need to figure out what to do with her...I'm not sure that she (as a single hen and so small), would integrate well into our current flock of 11.

Update: Nugget is doing well! She lays every other week and is still very "person" oriented. We decided to keep her separate from my regular size chickens, so she hangs around the horse barn and pals around with a duckling and angora rabbit. Thank you all for your help..
