Help with sexing a blue australorp

Fairly new to this myself but I have been researching like mad.
My research came up with the feather shape being fairly reliable with chickens from around 12 weeks. Hens have a rounded feather where a rooster becomes more pointed.
Can anyone confirm this? My Australorps seem to be displaying this and it looks the same for my light sussex but they are just coming to maturity now

Yes, roosters saddle feathers will be pointed and hens will be rounded

I agree with CochinBrahmaLover, A roosters hackle feathers would be a lot thinner and more pointy. The comb would be larger, If I can get a pic of my roo I will put it on here for you. I need to go find him.

HEN!!

a rooster would have a redder comb, hackle feathers, and saddle feathers more pointy

just saying cause you asked,

SHE SO PRETTY! gimme !

This is my first time keeping chickens so I have little to no knowledge in guessing their sex. Can anyone help me in sexing my blue australorp? I am not quite sure of its age either, so any advise on either would be much appreciated!!!

I have a pair of bantam Black Australorps and their eyes are dark like your girl. Their dark eyes make the skin around their eyes look lighter too.
She is a very pretty girl.
