It is hard to tell with that afro, but it looks like it could be a pullet!

Absolutely no way to tell the sex of a 2 day old Polish.

How old? It's tough to sex a polish, I have 5 of various ages and it was tough with all of them until they were older and the rounded head feathers came in. Right now it resembles my girls. The head feathers look orderly, not sharp, spiky or disorganized. The one in my pic was probably a bit younger than yours is now. She was scary, she's my favorite and I was the most worried she was a boy!

S/he hatched out on the 22nd of May so almost 7 weeks old now. Yeah the head feathers are perfect, never a feather outta place. for a girl cause I love this little one, just so friendly and tame.

I would lean towards pullet. My Polish cockerels were working pretty hard on their punk rocker hairdos at that stage and sporting the beginnings of wattles. Your baby is so beautiful!

Do you trim s/he crest around eyes? My polish is 9 wks and hasn't been able to see for weeks now!
