Help with Silkie hen! Cull or no?

Thanks everyone, figured i should update. With her will to live, we just couldn’t bring ourselves to do anything. So she’s been in our kitchen just laying there. It was so sad. I brought her outside today and she would lift her head and look around but not even try to get up. All the other girls just ignored her. I decided enough was enough and we put her down. (Modified broomstick method). It was horrible. I really hope i never have to do that again!

I'm sorry it came to that, but applaud you for being willing to put her out of her misery. There really is no "pretty" way to do it. You can rest easy knowing you gave her every chance to get well, and you took the best of care of her until the end.

I'm so sorry for your loss. And I completely understand wanting to give her every chance possible but you did the right thing for your poor girl, thank you for your compassion.
